medela pump has power but no suction

This seems to be quite a common question “I am just writing to you because I have been using this pump and it has completely stopped working! It still has power but no suction at all and no ability to turn it up - it was starting to have periods of not working and now it has completely stopped.”

 

First, you need to check the tiny white membrane disc.  This tiny parts controls the whole suction and performance of the pump, and it needs to have no rips, tears, or dry milk residue.  It has to be in perfect condition.  They do get wear’n’tear, so have you checked that part?  We do have spares available here.   Change this part over and tell me if your pump works!

Oversupply of breastmilk? Full engorged feeling

Some lovely ladies shared their kind advice for a mum that was waking in the night with full engorged breasts.  Her baby was 6 months old – and sleeping longer (Yay) but this meant she was going longer between feeding and mum’s body hadn’t yet adjusted the supply, or manufacturer of liquid gold.  So mum was waking up with very sore breasts.

Just wanted to tell you what an awesome company www.eat.co.nz are.  We have a promo running with them at the moment, where people can enter to win some vouchers to use on ready meals. (I thought this would be a great prize for busy families, or those with new babies in the house!) .  A few people were commenting on my Facebook page.  The owner of the Eat company was reading some of the messages, and decided to send some random meal parcels to a family that had been through a heartbreaking time.  This was extra to the giveaways in our promo.  So kind.

I must say I've found it hard to find any nice maternity clothes in my home town of Hobart, Tasmania and also websites of clothes in Australia didn't grab me. What I loved about your collection was things other than black or grey - yay! ....combining maternity and breastfeeding needs in one outfit.....and the great flexible returns/exchange policy. Good luck and thanks for your shop - I can feel good in some lovely, unique clothing now, mix up my 2-3 item maternity wardrobe now without costing me the earth.
